Hi. A bit of advice required. We will be arriving at WDW on 26th Dec for 10 days. Please could anybody let me know what the weather is likely to be like. How cold does it get in the evenings. Will shorts still be ok if we have jumpers to put on etc. Any advice will be a great help.
Thanks, Janet. :hourglass :cheer2:

Just check the 10 day weather forecast on any weather site the day before you leave. That should give you a fair idea what the weather will be like.

This all depends on where you are from. If your from Maine, you will find Florida weather in December nice and warm. It's always best to "layer" that time of year. Bring a sweatshirt or sweater.....something you can take off and tie around your waist when it gets warm.

Last Friday evening, it was in the high 40s (farenheit). I'm a little rusty on my "exchange" rate, but I think that's something like 10 C? I wouldn't have wanted to be in shorts!

Today, it's supposed to be in the high 70s in the Tampa area, which I think roughly translates to the mid 20s in celcius? Shorts and t shirts would be very comfortable, but you wouldn't be melting in a pair of jeans either.

I'd strongly suggest you should have MOSTLY long pants with maybe 1-2 pair of shorts. For the top half, layering is the best way to go. Once the sun goes down, it can feel chilly, even when it's in the mid-60s.

We are here now & the days that it is warm (70s) it gets chilly once the sun goes down, so definitely bring warmer clothing for night time. The one day we went to MK last week, Friday I think, it was freezing cold and windy! Well, not 21 like it was at home in Jersey, but I think it was in the 50s.
So be prepared for cold as well as warm, but I don't think hot :)
If that makes any sense. Have a great time.

There is really no way to tell what the weather will be like. Check the ten day forecast and keep checking right up to the day you leave. It varies quite a bit. One year, we were there during that time and our temperatures ranged from 20 degrees to 75 degrees. And the 20 degrees was at 5:00 in the afternoon.

Take layers. I usually pack a T shirt, a long sleeve T shirt, a light sweatshirt, a heavy sweatshirt, and a winter jacket for each day (you can obviously reuse the sweatshirts and jacket). I also take a knitted hat and gloves.

Like others have said - it is likely to be just about anything! We have had a huge range of temperatures recently. It gets quite chilly (aka cold) for a day or two, and then gets quite warm mid to high 70s.

You need to pack for a bit of anything - and layer for early mornings and evenings.

Thanks for all the advice. Guess it will be a bit of everything and buy whatever we need when we're there. Good excuse to shop.
Whatever happens it will be better than here (England). Today wet, cold windy. High of 9 degrees low of 7.
