Weather problems??

Can't imagine there being a problem with Port Canaveral today - its a beautiful day. Looks like Miami is having similarly nice weather.

Maybe they mean local weather (start point) preventing people from getting there? I imagine there a travel issues throughout the Midwest right now (tornados and all).

Just got off the Fantasy yesterday. Thought the captain must have been booking it after Castaway Cay because it was very very rough that night - first time my whole trip the motion stopped me from sleeping. But the weather was great yesterday morning when we got off. I didn't see the weather until I got home and it looked like was passed through the southern edge of it on the way home so we got heavy winds. It was already a good deal north of the port yesterday so I can't imagine there being any issues locally.

Got off Friday and the last night we were going pretty fast to avoid the TS , the ship diverted slightly and it rocked a bit but no high wind or rain that night just the waves from the storms

We were on the same sailing with you. Its very typical for the overnight trip from CC to PC to be a bit on the rough side as the ship crosses the gulf stream. Agree that it moved a fair amount on Friday night, but I didn't think it was any worse than other trips.

This was my first so I had nothing to compare it to. I was also on Bonine very religiously and the last night was the first time I had to take two and couldn't lay down or I felt queasy. The motion on the first two days was very noticeable to me as well although it was more disorienting and not sickening, but that might give you an idea of where my motion awareness baseline is!
