Good Morning,

We are thinking of cruising at the end of November beginning of December.

Has anyone cruised at this time and if so How was the weather?

I know that the weather in the parks can be iffy that time of the year, but what about the weather at sea and on Castaway Cay?

Is it warm enough to swim?

Thanks

I think it all depends on what you are use to. One of our moderators on another board cruised then and described it as HOT HOT HOT. She lives in the New England Area. While a co-worker of mine who was on the same cruise called it Warm/Hot. We live in the South. My co-worker had plenty of pictures from Castaway Cay. Many people were swimming.

We were sooo lucky when we sailed on the 3 night cruise in December 2001, the weather was unseasonably warm with both Nassau and Castaway Cay in the mid 80's and the water was quite warm. But according to some CM's the two previous weekends had been rainy, so we count ourselves as being very fortunate.

Hope you get good weather too.

We went on the 4 night last year on Dec. 1. The weather on the cruise was great. The parks were a little chilly though. This year we are doing the 7 night on November 29, which goes further south than the 4-night so hopefully the weather will be even nice. I am from Chicago though, so in December 70 degrees is like a heat wave and shorts weather to me.

We were on the Eastern Magic over Thanksgiving 2001 and it was still a *bit* chilly. We were covered in towels sitting at the pool and at Castaway Cay.

But, I think it was unusually cold for that time of year.

We are also planning a 7 day cruise at that time. Is there a difference in weather for the eastern or western? I would choose the warmest!!!

Thanks for any input.

You go a little bit farther south on the Eastern than you do for the Western.
