This system may become a tropical storm (Nicole) today, and it will probably have some effect on WDW and definitely VB today and tonight. By Thursday afternoon, it is expected to be around the NC-SC border, so HHI will also experience a little effect.
Most of the "weather" in this system is in the NE quadrant of the storm with the strongest winds actually being more than 100 miles NE of the center, and that portion is likely to remain offshore as the storm passes through. WDW will be on the "soft" side of the system and should receive only minimal effect -- in fact, it may not even be noticeable as a "storm."
Gonna be a windy, rainy day but it's business as usual here in South Florida today. The schools are open and everything is proceeding normally.

We're running Saturday night in the 1/2, so really hoping no rain that evening. Still time for the weather to change. Hopefully the hurricane will not be an issue.
