Not quite time to pack yet (arrive 2/25), but thinking ahead. I know the best tip is always to bring layers, but trying to figure out how heavy/light those layers should be.
In Washington, when it gets to 65 degrees people are breaking out the shorts and flip flops, but it gets cold in a hurry when the sun goes down. Do I need an actual coat for the evenings, or can I get away with sweatshirt/ windbreaker?

Thanks for your help! :worship:

Probably. It's been really warm or hot for the season lately.

It's best if you check the weather right before you leave. Then you can pack for what's expected, especially if there is a chance of rain.

Lately it's been shorts and tee shirt weather during the day. At night I'll throw a hoodie or jacket on at work but it's not terribly cold.

We are leaving on Feb 26th!! We're in Northern California and it's been pretty nice here and I know Southern California has been warm. I think we're getting rain this week and then it clears up again. I'm planning to check again in a week or two and see if anything changes. Hopefully we'll see 70s!!!

We were there a week ago and it was warm enough for shorts/capri's/t-shirts during the day (even warm enough to get soaked on Splash Mtn. and still have time to dry off in the sun...). At night it got cold fast....definitely cool enough for jeans and a thick hoodie or fleece pullover (which is what we brought).

Not sure what it's supposed to be like during your days there, though....generally Feb. is a rainy month in SoCal. I'd pack thin layers, bringing a fleece pullover or thick-ish hoodie just incase, because you will almost certainly want it at night.

We were there just under two weeks ago and it was high of 80 and sunny every day. Perfect!!

After the sun went down, it did get cooler pretty quickly though....as in, long pants and a light jacket or sweatshirt - cooler.

We are arriving this Friday! Forecast is Sunny and 75 :cool1: Does DCA/DL have lockers available to store our fleece hoodies? We plan to stay for WOC (can't wait!) and don't want to walk to the HoJo where we're staying and back when the sun goes down.

Yes, they start at $7 and have in and out priveges for the day. They are to the left of each park entrance, and on the right on the side street of Main Street.
