:wave2: Hi

Parents are off to WDW on 28th Jan for 2 weeks :earsgirl: :earsboy: , and they are both worrying about what clothes to pack, and what the weather will be like.

Any tips / advice I can give them? :confused3

Thanks

Hi Karen
I have never visited before at this time of year but from looking at weather underground's site the weather looks in the late 50's up to the early 70's.
I would pack a mixture of clothes from light jacket (to travel in) to a fleece, trousers, t-shirts, shorts.
Hopefully some other naughty person who should be working like me :) will soon see your thread and also be able to comment.

I'm going from mid Jan to early Feb and all the advice I have had is to be prepared to layer clothes so you can add or remove layers each day. It could be really cold or even shorts weather and some days may get both! Even if day is warm evening will be cool so jackets and / or coats are sensible.

Hi Tink,we have been twice in feb and tbh it can be a bit of a mix. This year it rained very heavy but only on and off.The next minute the sun's out and its very warm.I usually take summer wear but just pack a light fleese and a pair of long pant's.

Been twice during February. Ideal time for me. Nice and quiet. Good weather. Some evenings/mornings were cool, but most days t-shirt/shorts weather. Very little rain.

Unfortunately, the simple answer is you need to be prepared for just about everything, as others suggest. It can be very chilly first thing in the morning, but then heat up to the 70s before cooling off again. You may also get rain at this time of year (of the persistent, drizzle variety, rather than the short, sharp showers which can be dodged), so a raincoat is also pretty much essential. December has already seen a real mixture (although it hasn't been that cold at any stage), and Jan/Feb are usually similar (and colder).

I went in February before and I am going again in February 2006. I found it was chilly first thing but after breakfast it was lovely and warm.

I am taking casual trousers mainly and only a couple of pairs of shorts. Quite a few people had casual trousers and jeans on last time I went in February.
