weather in florida

Can someone advise what the weather is like in mid february and beginning of march - I have priceds for these days but am worried it may be too cold for the water parks - are they all open ...thanks in advance

Hi,

In a word, unpredictable Kelly.

Very difficult to say, we went in March in 2005 and had some lovely sunny weather, but also days where it rained all day and days where it was quite cool (especially in the mornings).

It could quite easily be in the low 80s but in reverse also could be in the 60s too.
Sorry not helping but it's difficult to say.

The water parks will be open for sure, I am sure you will have some opportunities to go there.

Feb/Mar temps are around the 70s/low 80s. Nightime the temp. drops to around the mid. 50s.

Should be more than warm enough for the waterparks

Johnny summed it up in one word unpredictable
All you can do is take you swimming gear with you and hope you get some good days. We wouldn't even consider it at this time of year but we love August 100 degs+ temps.

Only one waterpark at Disney will be open though as the other is being refurbished, this year it will be Typhoon Lagoon that is open in February.

Good, my Mum is worrying about the weather for our trip but I have just emailed her the past three years and she is happier about it now! Just make sure I have a coat for the evenings!

When we were at Universal Studios at 9am it was quite cold and they were selling out of hooded tops. Me and my DS bought a zipped hooded top which came in handy for the evenings.
