Can anybody tell me what the weather is like there in late February? I grew up in Southern CA and should remember but it has been 40 years and I can't recall. We are planning a trip for next February with DS and DIL and our 2 DGDs. It will by DGDs first trip to a Disney theme park so I want to plan it all out just right! TIA!

Average high temps are in the high 60s to low 70s. We don't get much rain, but there is a greater chance at that time of year. Nights are cooler and can drop into the 40s and 50s. All in all, it is a very pleasant time to visit.

Thank you so much. Sounds like I need to have long sleeve shirts for the little ones and a jacket for nights. We are so excited. I have wanted to bring them to WDW so long but DS has a conference in Anaheim so I will take what I can get! DL will be a great place for a first visit, the original park. I made many trips as a child and was back out there is 2004. Things had certainly changed!

Thanks again for your quick response. The weather there will certainly beat Oklahoma in February!:thumbsup2 or Mississippi (where DS lives).

The weather will definitely be better than in OK (or just about any other part of the country) in Feb. ;) By the way, if you don't want to carry your heavier clothing items during the day, there are lockers available on Main St for a fee. Depending what size you need, I think the prices range from $7-12. Or if you are heading back to your hotel for a mid-day break, you can pick those items up then.

When we do get rain in SoCal, much of it happens in February. Our 'winter weather' is kind of delayed a bit, as it were. So I would not rule out the possibility of rain, especially with an El Nino year upon us. If anyone here remembers El Nino years past, they can produce a LOT of heavy rain in a short period of time, which we are generally ill-prepared for in SoCal (and then we get flooding and mudslides and all kinds of fun stuff). So it may not rain in Feb., but it also very well may in 2010.

We were there this past February, and it was great. We didn't get any rain the days we were there. We wore tshirts during the day or a light long sleeve, and a light jacket at night. Crowds were also light, the longest line we waited in was for Nemo and it was like 40 mins or so. I would LOVE to go back in February, but with my little one in school, I dont know if that will be happening anytime soon.
