weather in early May

DD#2 heads off to Air Force ROTC late next summer. For her last vacation with the family, she has chose WDW, staying at Fort Wilderness of course. We don't want to do June/July as heat and rain can be miserable sometimes. Normally we go in October/November but that wont be possible this time. She will be graduating HS early and DW and I have very flexible schedules at our business, DD#3 is in online HS, so we can leave anytime. I'm thinking of early May to beat some of the weather and according to TWC, May looks similar to November in rainfall, does anyone have some experience in early May? Crowd levels?

Early May is nice, team bradfield. Warm days but moderate nights.
