Weather in early March? Too cold for the pool?

Hi everyone! I'm a new member to this board. I discovered your wonderful forum last week while doing some research on Disneyland. My family & I went to DL last April and had a blast, and so we are planning to visit again this year.

We are going to DL the first week of March this year and we will be staying in DLH during our trip. We are looking forward to using the hotel pool, as I heard many wonderful things about it Just wondering if the weather is too cold for that this time of year? Maybe the pool is heated?

The first week is always kinda "iffy"! Sorry I can't give you a definite answer, I doubt anyone can! In 2001, March was great and we could have easily swam, it was even HOT. But the first week of March 2005, there's no way I would have been swimming, heated pool or not.

Bring your suits, the DLH pool is heated and it is possible. But don't be too dissapointed if you can't.

We were there this past March. The weather was cold. We did go for swim, but we didnt lounge near the pool. We got out and RAN back to our room for our clothes. So, you should be able to swim, but I would take nice warm robes down with me so I wouldnt freeze getting bck to the room.

My DS birthday is March 5th so we have been during this time and as everyone else has said take the suits!!!

We have been there and it was HOT so I was glad I brought them along. Other times not so hot but my DS still wanted to swim so off they went to a very uncrowded pool.

Bring the suits. We were just there the week before Christmas and the kids and grandkids loved the GCH pool. They swam almost every day, both morning and evening! It was a bit too chilly outside for me, but they had a blast.

That week in 2006 was mostly rainy with highs in the low to mid 60s, but we did see a little sun now and then. We're going again that week this year, and will throw in our suits and hope for the best!

Still iffy for me!! We went in February one year and swam, another year we went in May and wore sweatshirts!! You just never know so bring your suits! Most likely yes by then with the heated pools!

One note at DLH if the main pool is too cold, we found the smaller pool to be warmer, and we had it to ourselves......This was late January last year....

Swam in outdoor pool every day March 20-25 in 2005. highs near 80. No rain.
