Any advice on going first week of Feb? Coming from southern Ca and hoping it's warmer there but I doubt it. Was wondering if that slow time is worth the savings?

More than likely it will be quite chilly with temps in the low 50 at night. Maybe 70s during mid day, but then again you could have a warm spell. :confused3

We live in Miami, went up in February 2012. It was cold; pants and sweaters for us. But come afternoon we were glad for the chilly weather. Once the Florida sun beamed down on us for a bit the sweaters come off and while we weren't yearning for a water ride, it was fairly warm!

I'd love to go in Feb. again. Sure, it could be chilly but when we went the weather was really nice. I personally wouldn't visit a water park but I would definitely enjoy the cooler weather!

You won't know until the 10 day forecast comes out- we were at Disney in mid February 2014 and it was definitely warm enough to do a water park. However, the week after we left the temperatures dropped into the 60s.

February is hit or miss.
Our local water park (a few hrs South of WDW) opens in March.
Generally March is too cold for me but I have that thin FL blood. Water at the beach in NY in July is too cold for me. I like a nice warm bath. Lol

My next door neighbors are Canadian snowbirds and I hear them in their pool sometimes in January. So it depends where you're from.

That said, I asked a CM about our Nov trip and was told the resort pools are heated, so it may be worth researching if the water park heat.
Although that's a lot of walking around in the breeze, unlike a resort pool.

HTH somehow lol

We were there at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb a few years ago. It was hot while we were there (high 80's/low 90's most days) - but generally it was only that warm for a couple of hours in the early/mid afternoon. Even coming from the frozen north, it wasn't warm enough for me to want to go to a water park. The kids did spend lots of time in the resort swimming pool though.

We're from North Georgia - way too cold for waterparks in Feb in our opinion. We've gone to WDW in Jan and Feb and both times we were in sweatshirts and jackets the entire week.

Sorry if I take the viewpoint of someone from Miami with a grain of salt when referring to it being too cold. ;)

I remember being in Florida and the people from there talking about how cold it was while I was wearing shorts and perfectly comfortable. It all depends on where you are from and what you are used to.

Thank you everyone for your comments! I am from TX and often think Cali weather is too chilly! I will rethink our trip in feb and maybe go for an after Easter time again. Thanks again y'all!!!
