I know this has probably already been addressed- but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what the weather is like in early December? We are just a few weeks away and don't know if I should pack shorts or capris for me and my 2 girls. DH wears whatever....LOL

This isn't our first time going to Disney- just the first time going this time of year.

Thanks so Much!

Mornings and evenings are chilly, but the weather is very nice during the day. Keep an eye on weatherchannel.com for weather details!

We visited WDW in Dec. 2001, 2002 and 2005. It could be warm enough for shorts and cold enough for winter coats.

There are several threads on this subject. I am going Dec. 5-12. The bottom line is, from dozens of responses (including my Dec. 2006 stay), that the weather is variable. Sometimes it's warm enough to go swimming, sometimes you need gloves. And that's over the course of a couple of days! Big help, huh?:rotfl: Check weather.com or other weather sites, and plan accordingly--that's what I'm going to do.

At best unpredictable. I think you willbe fine with pants and skipping shorts

I live near WDW. The weather is like fall in the north. Some days it is nice and cool. Others it is hot. We have also had SNOW. One year, even had a hurricane. Bring clothes in layers. I know it is not lots of help, but it is the way it is. Sorry

This is the correct answer! We've been every December for over 15 years and that's been our experience - even on the same trip. Pack layers so you are ready for everything.

Thanks for all the responses!!!

I think I'm just going to pack a little of everything! We are 20 days away. I keep checking the weather and just like everywhere else- it is constantly changing.

Thanks for all the advice- I think we'll go with T-shirts and Capris, then sweatshirts and pants for at night. I just can't wait to get there!!!

We're going in December as well. We are from New York, so I am sure that most of the time it will at least seem warmer to us (at least I hope so!!). I am really hoping that we can get some good pool days. That would be great!!
