We have been before in December and it was damp and rainy some of the days, which meant we wore sweatshirts and shorts (in the 50s-60s during the day). The weather will vary from upper 70s sometimes to below freezing, but mostly it is very mild when you look at the rest of the country.

Its a great time of year to go, and unless there is a real cold snap, you will be able to get by with lightweight jackets and pants at the worst. A little bit of nip in the air actually makes it feel more like Christmas to me! :)

We have never had any rain in Dec and the temps have been up as high as 88 and as low as 74 at night it ranges around 55-60. We love this time of year and missed not going this past Dec.

We've gone in early December the past 7 years, it is very unpredictable. We've seen highs of 50 and highs of low 80's. Last year was great, highs most days in the low 80's. A couple of years it never got higher than 60's. In 2003 I actually brought a winter coat for evenings, the next year a light jacket. Very little rain except in 2002 when we got hit with stalled fronts twice, bringing 24 hour straight rains. Be prepared for anything.

I agree with the "weather can vary" statement.

We go the first or second week of Dec since 1992. Lets see. In 2002 we had monsoon rain. I think it was in 1999 we had a frost that killed just about every plant that WDW had put in. In 2003 we had beautiful weather-sunny and warm. Really, it is totally unpredictable. But so worth it.

Good to see you "keeper of the Hanname".

One year we went the first week of December and it was beautiful (shorts weather) everyday but one, and on that day we had to wear our winter coats! Talk about going from one extreme to the other... :confused3

Very unpredictable but our experience has been more great weeks than nippy ones. But then, we come from the north with warmer clothes anyhow so no big deal to us.

We were there the first part of Dec 2004 and again in Jan 2005. It was warmer in January. It's the roll of the dice. Normally there is very little rain that time of the year.
