Weather in August ???

we are going on the 1st September and am beginningto panic it sounds like it is going to be unbearable. we normally go in may/june and love it... i am beginning to think about changing itbut i got such a good deal on that day...arghhh

If your sensible you will be fine, dh, ds & me don't enjoy the heat but take breaks by going to indoor rides/shows with air con. we've been may/june & aug & did'nt notice that much difference heat wise, just much more rain in Aug.

We were very lucky last year having the last week in Aug and the first week inSept. The crowd levels is Sept were brillant most rides were walk ons. We also got luck with the weather as tropical storm Fay had been dumping rain on the area non stop for the 8 days just before we arrived.

Go in Aug. if you must but if you can avoid it DO

We have always gone in Aug and love it. Yes its hot and humid but there is always a thunder storm that clears the air in the afternoon and even if you get caught in the rain it only takes 30 mins or so to dry out. We use to joke how you could almost set your watch by the 3pm thunder storm.

We have also found the more into Aug the more rain you get ,
