Weather in April

Has anyone traveled to the Bahamas in April, is the weather warm enough to enjoy the ship and the CC?

I'm taking the advise that others have posted in my "priced out" thread and found a better price for our family of 4 (2A, DD,DS) in April I was hoping the August/Sept rates would pose cheaper but not this time

considering April 24th -28th 2017

We sailed on a 3 night Wonder in April several years ago and just got off the 4-2-16 Fantasy. The weather was beautiful for both cruises - not super hot like our July & August cruises, but still plenty warm to enjoy water activities. I don't know if we lucked out or what, but we pretty much had weather in the 80's with lots of sunshine at CC - ocean water felt chilly at first, but we all got used to it pretty quickly and nobody was shivering or anything. I would do April again ... both cruises were over our kids spring break and prices were much, much better than summer sailings.

We were just on the Wonder in March and the pools on the ship were great. Water on CC was cool (especially for us Texans!), but like someone mentioned, once you got used to the temps, it felt great!

We never went swimming in the evenings. We had early dinner, then went to the shows or took the kids to the clubs and had a drink in the Cadillac Bar. Heck, I don't even recall spending much time out on the decks in the evenings!

thank you!! was it cool in the evening?

The first evening of our Fantasy was a bit windy/chilly on deck 11 ... but my kids did go swimming and rode the Aquaduck a couple times. The NCAA basketball finals were playing on Funnel Vision, so there were lots of men on the deck that night and I did notice that several had towels draped around their shoulders. I was fine walking around in short sleeves, but the people watching the TV were sitting still, so probably chillier.

Yes. We have gone many times during that exact time frame. It's wonderful weather. You will want to be in the water!

Great time to go. Not unbearably hot. Spent Nassau day lounging at the pool and when I got too hot I'd get in the pool to cool off. Castaway Cay was very warm and the water was perfect.
