Hello,

Me and the rest of my family are heading down on Sat Nov 5th. I just checked the weather forecasting for next week and it is saying rain for quite a few of the days (30 to 40% chance of rain).

I have never been to WDW in November before so I am not sure on how bad this rain can be. We usually go in June where it rains quite oftenand hard but it usually passes in a hour.

Is next weekly likely to be a major washout or are the Nov showers nice and quick??

Worried,
Peteyi

We were at WDW for those dates last year, and I think it rained once. I wouldn't particularly worry about a 30-40% chance--you have a better chance of having Sunny (or cloudy) skies with that forecast. I do remember wondering if it would rain on a few occasions (dark clouds moving overhead), but it only did that one time. Keep your ponchos with you, but don't despair! As far as how long it might rain, I don't think the showers this time of year are as sudden or as quick, and you need to be mindful that if you do get wet you might get Cold, depending on the temps.

But, I say, grab your ponchos and head out expecting the best--You're likely to get it!

Hopefully it'll just be a little here and there. It doesn't look like there are any major storm systems that are coming in, but it's hard to predict what will blow up over the next 10 or so days. Speaking from being at WDW during this timeframe, it's never been anything to worry about.

Now the week of December 7th was different. Our trip during that time a few years ago saw downpours that lasted most of the day and on almost every day of that trip. :(

Thanks. Trying to stay positive. And yes, our ponchos are alreaady packed. I was just hoping we were not going to need them. The low rainfall is the main reason we picked November instead of June this year....

I am right there with you Peteyi! We will be there also next week and we picked November for the same exact reason!!! Oh well. I have learned not to look at weather forecasts too much when it comes to vacation because you never know what's going to happen and if it rains it rains so no point in letting it worry you! Have a great trip! :wave2:

Forecast of rain next week? That's actually a good sign as the forecasts this far ahead are always wrong! That means it will be SUNNY! :sunny:

We'll be there in 2 days, can't wait!!

I keep checking the weather several times a day, we're leaving Nov 9. First it's nice, then it's rain, then it's nice again. They change it so much, I just shouldn't check!

This will be our 6th November trip. We went once in September and it rained 3 of the 4 days we were there and it was our very first trip. We've only had a few days of rain in all our trips combined. It's usually short showers and it still stays pretty warm. Don't worry.

We'll see you there. :)

We will be there next week too!
I checked www.accuweather.com today and it doesn't mention rain at all.
(you can click on the 15 day forcast link)
Keep in mind with being a 15 day forcast, it probably won't be the most accurate, but it's still fun to check and wonder......

I've been checking for the last few days since we arrive on Sunday and there is almost no rain mentioned for the whole week now.

We are going also from 11/10-11/14 and am hoping for nice weather. Gotta be cooler and less rain than August!
