Weather ? for September...

Can anyone please tell me what we might expect for weather in Septmeber? Looks like Sept. can be rainy... does it cool off very much in the evening? This will be our first time in Florida in September and have no idea what to expect. Thanks for any help.

We'll be down in Sept, too!

It's been 3 years since we visited in Sept, but I recall it being very hot & humid every day. We did get some rain, but mostly of the afternoon shower variety. I don't recall getting any full day rain showers in Sept.

We're beginning to pack, too & I really can't decide if I should bring a pair of jeans for an evening in the parks, or if they won't be needed. I'd love to hear some advice on how cool the evenings will feel, too. Thanks!

We are going 09/13/04-09/02/04 - I was wondering about jeans too. How late are the parks open in September? I cannot remember where I saw park hours.

I went in September 2002 and 2003. It was very hot and humid and I don't recall ever needing pants, a jacket, or a sweatshirt. I always pack them just in case, but it's usually still pretty hot in Sept. I'm thinking it was like upper 80's, close to 90 during the day, and upper 60's/close to 70 at night.

Thanks for the replies. Ours is just a quick trip down (DH and I) so I want to pack as light as possible. May throw in a pair of pants, but will probably just buy a sweatshirt if needed. Would be my souvie for the trip. Our rain jackets pack pretty small so not worried about those. Now my only other dilemma is shoes... LOL always something.

Was there in Sept 2001, and going back this Sept.
In 2001, we had great weather, hot, but not unbearable (but mind you, I love hot weather) I think the only rain we had lasted less than an hour, one afternoon. Every other day was rain free
