Weather for late October

Hi everyone,

We are planning a trip for October 20 thru 26th 2007. I was wondering how hot and humid it is at WDW that time of year? I know it is far better in October than summer, however, being from southern California, We are used to 20% humidity.
In fact, We took our first trip in December and while the temp was fine (about 80 each day) we felt that it was fairly humid.

We were at WDW 10/22 - 10/28 last year (2006) and found it surprisingly cooler than expected. Several mornings and early evenings we needed to wear a sweatshirt or jacket. I remember the Tuesday of that week was on the coolish side - we had a 9:00 ressie at Norway for the Princess breakfast and everyone there standing outside the restaurant was absolutely freezing. That was the coolest day of the week and it eventually warmed up a bit by mid-day.

I don't recall it ever getting above 80 during the daytime, which actually was fine. It was never hot at all or unpleasant the entire time we were there.

We did a late Oct trip last year. Weather was perfect, if not a bit on the chilly side a couple of days (chilly for swimming in the pools, but not chilly for enjoying the parks).

Good web site I like is weather.com, they do daily historical averages. You can see how the weather changes from the start of oct to the end of oct.

If the links does not work for you, when you select an extended forecast for a city, you see an averages link. Select that and you get the monthly averages. Within that there should be an option in the pull down for daily averages. From there you can select the month. It is pretty cool, good resource for the specific dates you are traveling.

What a neat site! Thanks for sharing this. Our trip is late october. We think this is the best time to visit although the weather can be a bit unpredictable.
