Weather for Feb. 1

What is the weather like the beginning of February? Is this a good time to go considering it is value season?

We were there during the first week of February this year (2008) and had FABULOUS weather. I packed a little of everything...shorts, t-shirts, a pair of jeans, long sleeve shirt or two and a jacket, oh, and bathingsuits, and we ended up in shorts & t's the whole week. I wore my jacket maybe once or twice. It was in the 80's during the day, sometimes downright warm but with no humidity, and even the evenings were shorts weather. We even swam in the pool some.

You really just have to keep an eye on the weather. I packed, repacked and repacked some more a zillion times And, I ended up doing laundry a few times to rewash & rewear the shorts & t's.

we always go in January/February and love it. We have had some really cold and very warm but most just nice, in between. We are in Ohio so it has to be freezing for us not to go swimming but, that said, we have gone swimming every trip. Very nice time to go.

Usually, the first week of February is pretty good in regards to crowds, but the Superbowl is in Tampa this year and the UG crowd calender has those days as 8s and 9s (on a 1 out of 10 scale). Also, Knox The Canadian Guy Moderater has reported that the NFL has already reserved blocks of rooms at Disney for the event. It will be busy.

As far as weather, it just depends. We went a couple of years ago during that time frame and it was cold and rainy. Our neighbors went last year and it was warm and sunny. It think it's just luck of the draw, it could be chilly one day and warm the next during that time of year in Florida. You will just have to watch the weather carefully before you leave.

Ditto. We always go in Jan/Feb as well. Sometimes it's chilly, but we rarely have to break out our jeans and pants considering it's warm to us (from the northwest).
