I am possibly considering a trip to DL for the first time at the end of the year (if I can convince DH!!). I think I've settled on the Candy Cane Inn, unless someone else has a better idea. :) They had a free shuttle and reasonable rates.

When would be the best time to go? I'm thinking of mid-November? My husband is in construction so we'd have to wait until things die down at his work a little bit for the year. It may get pushed to January! who knows! :rotfl:

One more dumb question... What airport do you fly into when visiting DL?

Anyway, I haven't the slightest idea how to "do" DL. I have WDW down pat!

Help! :worship:

IMO mid-Nov will be better than Jan. More rides up and more shows going, plus all the Christmas stuff up.

As far as "best time to go", that is highly subjective. I prefer high season trips because all rides are going and entertainment is maxed out.

DLR off-season is different from WDW so be careful about trying too hard to miss crowds.

That is not a dumb question at all. Our 3Tinks has written a thread just for you:

Your WDW experience can work for you or against you. Check this popular thread for some more info to get you pointed in a good direction:

Thanks so much! I didn't even know where to begin!! I didn't want to start too many question posts since Im not even sure this trip will happen. It's just a pre-spring cabin fever idea :rotfl:

I would agree mid-Novemeber would be a good time to go! I'd love to get to see all the holiday stuff. As far as airports go, the link already posted is REALLY helpful. I'd check fares from LAX, LGB & SNA and compair those three. If you can get a good deal into SNA or LGB those are closer than LAX :)
