Weather at the moment in DLP ?

We are due to travel on 12th March and looking at the weather it appears pretty 'wet' there at the moment.

Has any one visited during a wet period , If so how did you find it ? Is there plenty of opportunity for shelter ?

I'd rather be cold than wet , looks like i'll be both now.

During the summer we had some very heavy rain/thunder storms.
It brought out the ponchos, but we tried to stick to rides/queues under cover.

I don't do wet either

we are going 14th march, its still early yet, the weather might change, hopefully, i hate the wet, rather have cold, wind but sun would be great, i am packing for all sorts of weather except tee-shirts, unless i may take them as extra layers.

Nat - don't take the forecast seriously until about the day before you go!! I kept checking before I went and totally different weather was predicted each day I looked!!

DLP caters really well for horrid weather. When we went it was soooo cold, but most of the attractions are indoors so warm and dry. Also, the main eating place and general entrance area at Disney Studios is under cover and heated. If you plan well and walk through shops etc you might not even notice the rain

There are lots of covered areas at DLP (they planned for the 'european' weather when they built it!). As long as it does not rain ALL day long you should be able to allocate your time so that you do those rides/shows that are under cover in the showers plus eating) and then head back out again when it clears.

We are going on the 13th March - taking layers of clothes - thermals (inc long johns!), long sleeve tops, fleeces and pac-macs. You will be fine.

Just checked out a couple of different weather sites and it's starting to look pretty good.
Light showers this weekend with the beginning of the week sunny but cloudy and wait for it ..................................................................................................... Thursday 16th all reporting full sunshine.

Temperatures around the 10 degree mark, so not too bad at all.

I check the 10 day weather forecasts daily and they are still fluctuating quite a bit - but it seems that the trend is warmer (warmest I have seen is 16degrees for the 17th March!) with some sunshine and a few scattered showers - I can cope with that

Still my weather obsession continues!
