Weather at the end of this week??

Aw, man, I just glanced at the weather forecast for the end of this week and it shows cloudy days through the weekend...any chance of this changing? I know, as long as it doesn't rain and it's warm who cares right? But still, coming from up here in Canada where spring was VERY late this year, I want some California sunshine darn it!

Anyone else getting a different forecast? How's it looking through Mother's Day weekend? And please, please, I beg you, don't tell me rain. PLEASE!

I haven't seen forecast for rain on any of the sites I have checked, but it looks like it will be getting a little cooler each day and a little cloudier and then even cooler I was hoping for better, I could use a little sunshine myslef, but after the extreme heat a week or so ago, I am glad it won't be 100 plus while we are there!!!

Weather.com shows partly cloudy and 70ish towards the end of this week, and sunny and 70s for the weekend.

The weather in SoCal changes so quickly that it's important not to stress about the forecast days away. And there isn't anything you can do about it anyway.

(And BTW, I know everyone wants their SoCal vacation to be sunny and warm, but us locals really really really like it when it rains every once in a while, so we don't get those pesky fires. )

I will still hope for a day or two of beautiful sunshine. After the absolutely bizzare weather we have had in the NW, it would be soooo great to see blue sky and sun for longer than twenty minutes!!!

I wouldn't worry too much, I bet it'll be fine! Like everyone said, southern CA weather does change very quickly. Even in December, the cold isn't very 'cold'. More than likely it'll be a gorgeous day!

My last trip it actually rained on and off for two days at the park..and to be honest it was kind of a fun time running around. During the times it let up the lines were extremely short, and it was very cozy spending time in the restaurants and watching the rain fall (being in San Diego, rain is a treat for me ).

I'll be there next Wednesday and I'd love some clouds and no heat as well.

Thanks everyone! I don't want the extreme heat either...that just saps our energy. I looked at a different site that forecasts cloudy in the morning dissipating to sunshine in the afternoon....perfect. Hopefully one day that isn't too windy so we can see the fireworks and that would be the best I could ask for!
