Spring Direct Incentives 2/9-4/27

They will definitely let you know.

Yeah, I figured they probably would right away.

I'm not sure which is worse, the anticipation or the actual arrival

I just want to get them paid for the year and not think about them again until December. I'm glad our final DVC payment has posted and we're done with that aspect, at least.

Does anyone know how long after closing the 2026 dues will show up on my DVC account for me to pay?
They told me it would be 30 days before they show up and due 30 days after that. I've still been checking just in case. Since we pay dues annually instead of monthly, I also just want to get it over with.

In a related question, I wonder how long after closing it takes to get the magical beginnings check.

Hopefully you get the MB check before the annual dues are due. One thing pays for the other. 🤣

I did MB a few years ago during the VGF2 fire sale, and I think I remember it taking 2-3 weeks then. This round, my final payment is scheduled in 2 weeks. Others may be able to report sooner than I can.

Dues already paid, still waiting on the MB check.

You could be right, but there have definitely been some reports of guides telling people that, after the 7-days during any given incentive period, you simply have to wait until the next incentive period. The one situation of which I'm personally aware (involving my guide), they were eventually able to secure the purchase, but it took some work to get it done.

And that extra time could have just been that they want it to be approved beyond the guide level.

Similar to how it’s done when someone wants more than 30 days to close. Most guides say they need to get approval but it comes through.

Can they really get this Saratoga sale any hotter than it is?
Why yes they can. Feels kind of like when they announced Wailulu.

lol
Having never been there, the image in the article makes it look like a renovation is long overdue... the restaurant looks to me like it belongs in a senior living complex and not a Disney Resort....

If they wanted to make publicity around the SSR sale, they'd reopen the Spa... Or at least find a tenant to operate it...
