Going end of April for 2 weeks, never been in may, what is the weather generally like, and the crowds are the parks busy.

Given that dec was cold we packed enough for cold weather, i would rather pack for warm weather :cool1:

I take it your going at the end of April and running into May? Well, firstly, Easter is a peek season and its heaving with people, May-June is acutally a quite season, all the times ive been i have been able to walk on rides or wait a maximum of around 10-20 minutes!, although a lot of people say the weather is worse in May-June, so far its not been to bad, sure theres been rain but nothing like there was in July.

We went 26th April last year for just under three weeks, the weather was lovely, we had some spectacular rain and thunder at night a couple of nights.

The crowds were fine no different really then when we usually go which is Oct/Nov.

It is one of the best times to go for a good balance of low(ish) crowds and nice weather.
Would be our ideal choice if we were not restricted to the summer holidays.

Doesn't tend to get really hot until June.

One thing that struck me about going at this time was that there were a lot of large groups of teenagers in the parks during the day. As far as I am aware it was all due to some marching band competitions that are run at about that time.

The bands from different schools lead out the parades on different days which is a bit different from just the normal parade and they are entertaining to watch which is a bonus. :)

You also might get to see the Flower & Garden festival in EPCOT at that time which again even if you are not into gardening is a nice change from the norm ;)

We went on the 11th April last year for 2 weeks and the crowds were not bad, we had a few rainy days but otherwise the weather was nice infact much better than in September when I found it too hot. I agree with Alan the flower and garden festival at Epcot is lovely even if you aren't into gardening it really does look fantastic. I can't wait to go again and see it in May.
