Wearing White after Labor Day

Is it okay to wear white (shorts, pants) in Florida in October?

Yes. The whole "white" fashion police thing does not really come into play in tropical climates. If it's warm enough to wear shorts and they happen to be white, go for it.

I just don't wear white dress shoes after labor day. My tennis shoes are white and the fashion police will have to lock me up to get them!

I think my Grandmother made that rule I can hear her saying that over and over. No white shoes, purse etc after labor. Funny though, the white gloves were never put away.
