Wearing glasses on the rides

Oh hi thar seven year old thread.

I took my glasses off just "to be safe" on the coasters last time. This time I'm gonna get a croakies band and put it on at the start of the ride and put it back in my pocket when I get off.

I only have issues with glasses in England, as they tell you to take them off, even in swimming pools slides ? For that reason I got a set of presription swimming goggles. .

Well I can certainly understand why glasses would need to be removed in a swimming pool, but wouldn't think this would be an issue in any of the WDW theme parks. Keep in mind that the goggles might be comfortable to wear in the comparatively mild climate in the UK. But in Florida it is hot and humid. The goggles would quickly become horribly uncomfortable from the perspiration trapped inside. I have trouble seeing through my regular eye glasses when I'm sweating profusely. I can't imagine how difficult it would be in goggles that wouldn't allow for evaporation.

If your glasses frames have been properly fitted to your face and you can wear them when working out in the yard or doing exercises then you'll probably be just fine. I've never had a problem with mine atWDW (although I've never been on RnRC). If in doubt, get a sports strap.

Wow. Two zombie seven-year-old glasses threads in a 24-hour period. :confused3
