Wearing Flip Flops on Soar?

I am planning on wearing flip flops a few days while we are at Disney. Are you allowed to wear flip flops on rides such as Soar, where your feet hang? Thanks for your help!

You just leave your flip flops on the ground because you take off and land in the same spot.

On Soarin, the CMs insist you take your flip flops off and leave them on the floor under your seat. When the ride is over, your seat comes back to its starting point so your flips are there waiting for you. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other rides at WDW that make you take them off.

They make an announcement before the ride that flip-flops and articles such as backpacks have to be left on the floor.

If I recall correctly, there is a space under your seat to place your belongings. It won't fit a huge backpack but flip flops will sure fit along with your camera or small purse.

You can just leave them on the floor since you come back to the exact same spot.

Hi Goofy,
There is a little spot underneath your seat that is netted and you can put all your belongings in it (ie: camera, flips, sunglasses).
Its so cool, your going to love it!! nothing to worry about!

Riding Soarin' barefoot is fantastic. I take off my shoes even when I don't have to.

You can leave them on the ground(you land in exactly the same spot you take off from.....or you can place them in the under-the-seat compartment that you place any carry on items(hand bags, cameras, hats, mugs, merchandise bags, etc.)

Well you can put your flip flops in the netted thing that's under the seat, or you could always just leave them on the ground b/c they'll be there when the ride's done.

You will be able to find the net, can't miss it if you look under your seat and there is no way you can wind up anywhere except back exactly where you started.

Riding Soarin' without shoes is a little slice of heaven... especially after walking the parks all day! I highly recommend it!
