So, we're going to DL this weekend (yea!) and thinking of dressing a little, well, let's just call it our personal Bats day. Anyway, I was considering wearing my pants with chains attached (similar to these: http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Apparel/Bottoms//Tripp+Black+And+Red+Strap+Pants-946362.jsp). However, I'm curious if anyone else here has worn them there. If so, first, were you able to (chains aren't against the rules, right?) and second, did it prove difficult (did your chains catch while entering/exiting rides, etc.)

Thanks!

First let me say, I think those are really cute. Second, I would think the chains/straps could get caught so the outfit might require you to be extra careful getting on and off rides (and even walking in big crowds, don't want to get caught on stroller).

I love those too, but I think they will require too much effort to be comfortable at the parks.

Not my kind of thing, but those are cute! I would just be careful that you don't get the chain/chains caught upon exiting a ride. I see no reason you can't wear those to DL.

I've worn Tripp capris at DL before, but they only had the suspenders in the back and zippers, no chains. I didn't have too many issues wearing them. I did get caught on things a couple of times.

I don't see why you would subject yourself to the extra hassle of possibly getting stuck or caught on something, and honestly they just don't look comfortable anyway. :confused3

Best of luck with whatever you decide. :thumbsup2

I haven't worn bondage pants to Disneyland, but like everyone else said, be careful when you sit down. I've got a pair similar to those (except they just have chains, no cloth straps) and the chains have gotten caught on chairs a number of times (especially the flip-down auditorium style chairs where you can't just sit down but have to slide back on them at the same time). Just make sure to sit down carefully (maybe hold the chains against your backside to make sure they don't get caught on the edge/underneath) and avoid little kids who have that "ooh shiny I'm going to grab it" look in their eye.

As others have said, the chains might get stuck at odd moments. According to the website, the chains are removable, so if you find them annoying you can just snap them off. Have a great trip!

Also, you may have CM's at the security check point give you a "hard" time. My DD23 likes wallets with chains (and pants like those altho she didn't think they would be comfy to wear in the parks so she didn't take them the time she went with us) and the security CM's gave her a hard time about the chain that was on her wallet. We did make it through but it was a hassle.....just to let you know.

PS I think those pants are super cute and I'd love to wear stuff like that if I didn't think it would make me look like a 40 year old trying to be 20 something. :) LOL Super cute!!

I don't have experience wearing anything that has the word bondage in it, so sorry mate, cannot help you out there. I make it a point to stay away matter of fact from anything that might be uncomfortable, well with exception of well I will leave it at that...... anyway, I believe in freedom of speech and the same goes for clothing, just let it all hang out man. I was thinking it might be nice to join a clothing optional community, think of it: it won't matter if someone puts starch in your undies, because you won't be wearing any, no more panty line, gone will be the days of worrying about what to wear, no more bra issues, hate those things with a passion to begin with...... they had it right in the 60's man burn your bras! I say bring those days back, you know they were designed by men to begin with.
(As I pause to take a breath) no more worrying about getting a mustard stain (OK so that is me) on your white shirt, because said white shirt will be with the undies, no more wondering if your cherub butt will fit into that 300 dollar dress (Which no it won't) but then that dress was not even silk so who cares.... no more having to worry about wearing the same thing as someone else when attending a public or private function, so who is with me? I say gather all of your clothing well what you cannot stand anyway, place it all upon yuletide logs then watch it burn, all the while you can enjoy the warmth from the fire, because with no skivvies on, you will probably be cold, and jack frost won't be nipping at just your nose...... please pass the smores and weenies, make mine all beef please.....

:hippie:

That's actually what I ended up doing. I wore the pants, sans chains. They were almost as cute that way - and much less of a bother.
