We went to the zoo yesterday...

DD19, DGS1, one of her BFFs and I went to the zoo yesterday. It was a very interesting trip. Some teens threw a WDW plastic bag in with the banoobas and they were putting it on their head so I went to find someone to get the bag for them. DGS1 didn't like being close to the giraffes but he loved the elephants.

Then comes the part where I suppose I trained DD19 right. The zoo was decorated for halloween since they have a few nights of a halloween party each year. As we are walking around down a path by the apes, DD looks at her BFF and says "Look at these decorations. I know they try, but they sure aren't like Disney are they?" I was beaming with pride! I have created another Disney person!!!

I love it! We do that too... usually we don't even realize it until someone overhears and looks at us funny. Area theme parks, the state fair, water parks, swimming pools... even club level at many really nice hotels no longer seeem as nice to the DDs either.

I confess... you got me... I'm guilty of raising jaded travel snobs. Nice to know I'm not the only one...

Yes, I already googled. It came up with music links and pointed me to baloobas which i hit and apparently that has something to do with being drunk.

Congrats on raising another Disney person. There are not nearly enough of us

Thanks for clarifying on the name. I was way more worried about the bag than looking at the sing. Even though I was at WDW last week, I was still jealous that someone else had a bag and had probably just been there! No, I was really afraid one of them would get hurth with it before I could get someone to get it from them. It was interesting to watch them when the zookeepr showed up though.
