We went to Aulani!

My work sent my to Hawaii for some training, then were generous enough to add 2 extra days before and 2 days after my conference and I got to take DH and DS who is 6 with me, I just had to pay for the airline tickets for them. Always the training was held at a Hilton so that is where they put me.

After the conference was over we went to check out Aulani for lunch, just beautiful! The plan was to have lunch, check out the resort and shop of course, I was actually a little worried we wouldn't be able to get in, we had no reservations, but that wasn't a problem at all. We even got to eat by the pool, our waitress let us know our little one was welcome to check out the pool, I was in total shock! Even asked the life guard on duty, she also said yes but we can not use the towels since we were not staying there. IDK if it was just a slow day, maybe because it was just my little guy got some pixie dust or what, so while we waited for our food DS took a dip in their beautiful pool! Aulani is beautiful! What was funny was the food seemed the same as WDW, at least my DS's pizza was, and I got some shopping done too! Just can't wait to go back!!! Because now I really want to stay there

WOW, nice! From what I've seen online it looks beautiful and Hawaii is so magical. We hate long flights, my DH especially (I think it's 10 or so hours direct from JFK in NY) so I don't think we will make it there anytime soon.
