Finally all caught up! Just in time. What a fun adventure! The cruise looked amazing - as always... Vero is beautiful... and Disney camping looks like it's own breed! I'd love to camp at Disney but I don't see us doing it since we won't ever drive... unless we want a divorce.
We don't do long road trips well. I'm very impressed with the "comfort station"... it's the nicest camping bathroom I've ever seen.
Can't wait to hear about your girls trip.
Hey there! I have been terrible on the DIS, I am so behind on your PTR, too, and you are getting ready to go!!! the cruise was great, and yes, I agree Vero is very pretty!!! Camping at Disney is its own breed of camping, I agree, and think that is a great way to describe it!!! You had me laughing with the divorce in driving comment.. that is so true for many, I think!!

Yes, DEFINITELY the nicest camp bathrooms I have seen, too! NOT National Park!
you have been on a roll!!!

I need to take it from you and finish my TR from November of 2010~ YES a YEAR AGO!!!

I think its buried in DIS land somewhere..
What fun you guys had though!! you did A LOT!!!
We were thinking of going to the KSC after our Fantasy cruise next summer.. do you think a half day is enough?
We were going to drive down (I'm from MD as well).. so we would hit KSC on our way home.. and just stop for the night somewhere. (I usually drive straight through),
do you think 5-6 hours is enough time to see most of it?
Loved Vero beach too!! and camping, that must have been fun!!
Hi! I think you could do well at KSC with 6 hours... you would have to prioritize and have a plan beforehand, but it is doable I think. We did a lot on this trip, that is true!!! I wanted to get it finished before I left for Miami, but it didn't work out!! I did start my new PTR for the Thanksgiving cruise, though...

Vero and camping were definitely highlights for the kids!!!
Blizzard beach looks so fun. I got to tour it this summer and we got to sample a donut too....MMMMM!
They sure were good!
Wow, tons of updates!!!
Camping actually looks like lots of fun at FW. We have never been to the campfire before but will have to check it out soon.
Glad you like Blizzard Beach. It is our favorite! The boys look like they were having a blast!
Glad you had a great time on your girls trip. Can't wait to read all about it.
Well I hope Michelle is working on that TR!! I am supposed to help with the title, she might have already started it!!! YOUR trip is coming up in two weeks, right?! YAY for you!
I read your updates on Sunday, but am just now getting a chance to respond to them (I wanted to make sure I did justice to them

) -- Chelsea has a doctor's appointment today, so I took the day off.
Hope all is okay??!!
So glad we have the magic of the DIS, so that your first glimpse of the WDW sign was a bit clearer. LOL!
Camping looks like so much fun (in theory), but I suspect that my crew wouldn't even be able to get the tent up without a lot of drama, choice words, and tears. Ha ha!
YES, it was fun to imagine the other sunny and beautiful days we have driven through the gates, so I made it sunny for my TR!!!
I think once you got the tent up, that you would have a fun few days!!! I know we did!
Cali Grill must be really delicious -- one day we will try it. Although, I think I want to try those Blue Zoo crab nachos first. Yum!
The campfire with s'mores and a movie sounds like a lot of fun! We watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice again on Sunday -- very cute movie -- Connor loves it, of course. Our favorite line is the reference to Star Wars with "these aren't the droids you are looking for."
It is all really really good! AND that campfire was a great time. The weather was perfect, not hot. and the kids loved it! OF course, boys and the stuff legends are made of!!!
Blizzard Beach looks like a hit -- we have been to Typhoon Lagoon but not BB. Is there any shade there? I know my two would love it there -- especially Chelsea with those big water slides.
Ah, AKL! I never get tired of seeing pictures of it.
There were shady spots, yes, so you could certainly be in the sun or out of it, and still enjoy all the features! The slides were definitely part of the excitement!
WOW I finally just caught up!! LOVE IT!!! I could do the tent thing for a day or two but after that back to a Disney resort room for me LOL!!!!! Although I must say Ft. Wilderness has a lot of very fun activities that would be awesome to do!!!!
If I were the type to really enjoy swimming at Disney I would love to visit Blizzard Beach, the theming looks like so much fun!!!!!!
Can I just say I'm so excited about the idea of seeing you again this summer!! I cannot wait!! WOOT WOOT!!! I might even have to have a drink by the pool LOL!!!!!! (Since we know I can manage 1)
Can't wait for your resort and Blue Zoo night...I so have to get back there LOL!
OH I agree!!! It will be great fun seeing each other then!!!

AND yes, there will be pool-side drinks!!! LOL!!
The camping was interesting, and like I said, Ft. Wilderness seems to have a little something for everyone, and that is probably why people come back so often to the Fort!
I saw a post on Chelsea's FB, how is she doing?
Not sure what was happening, but hope she is okay!!!
Tangerine Dreams for the girls! Jen, I'm printing this post off and taking it with us!!!
YES, Tangerine Dreams!!!! Sounds great!!!
Hey...I made it before you posted your last days entries!! CAnt wait to hear about Thanksgivening at sea!!
Coming up this week!!!
Looks like a great time at BB.....one of these days I will get to a water park. I have flashbacks of Great Wolf Lodge when I thought my skin was going to fall off do to the extreme amounts of chlorine

but I know it's not like that in Disney
Okay with the guy on the
scooter
...but I suppose on the side it is all sand
I am sure after your camping fun you were happy to step foot in the AKL even if it was just for a quick moment
Mmmmmm Blue Zoo....you should get some kind of kick back from them

I still haven't had the crab nachos

because I have loved the low country shrimp so much I just can't (I wish I could) eat everything I want when I am there....and of course the Serenity takes up some room too
Tracy
I think the issue was that the older man on the scooter didn't use the regular bike paths, which were there, and chose to be on the main road. It just slowed things down, and then with the kid riding it with him, I think there were too many cars around...
BLUE ZOO!!!!

Serenity yep, so good!!!
