We should rent a double stroller, right?

If staying onsite rent from an offsite company. Apple stroller is an approved vendor that leaves the stroller with bell services. I'm renting one from Sunday to Wednesday cost $33(cheaper than a 1 day Disney Stroller at the park) Apple Stroller is the cheapest compared to other offsite vendors you pay for insurance $7 a day plus pick up and drop off $5 each plus tax. Other companies were over twice that amount.

I am so confused. The Apple site seems to say the rental days are free, that you pay $7 per day for insurance and $5 each for drop off and pickup. ?

We stopped renting strollers when DD was 5 and DS was four and it was great! We loved not having to navigate the double-wide through the crowds and not having to waste time parking it and finding it before and after every attraction. We took a mid-day break on most days and the kids were fine.

The only piece of advice I have is to make sure they have shoes that don't give them blisters. :cool1:

We use a double stroller.
It's a parade seat, nap spot, safe spot for rope drop/park close, lets us speed up if they are dragging and allows us to tour the world showcase. We also use it for drinks and snacks. You are pushing an object with a huge basket, so put in a case of juice boxes and snacks and suddenly your kids don't risk heat stroke and dehydration if you don't stop for a drink every hour. Just don't pack anything in it that you would be mad if somebody stole. Nobody has looted our stroller, but it can happen.

Also know that if your kids fall asleep in it and it's table service meal time, ALWAYS ask if you can bring in the stroller with the sleeping little one before assuming you can't. They can and will say no to you some days, but mine are so much happier when their nap includes A/C.

With Apple you're not actually paying a fee for the stroller itself. You're paying the $7/day for insurance, then $10 total for delivery and pick-up. Because they are not charging for the stroller itself in that fee, the cost is close to 1/2 of what some other rental companies are.

For example, Kingdom Strollers also rents a City Mini - their rental fee is $60 (for 4-7 nights). But that doesn't include insurance. If you want insurance it's between $15-$25 (depending on what you rent) added on to that fee. So if you wanted the City Mini and the insurance, you are looking at at least $75 for the rental. If you're renting from Apple for 5 days, you are paying $35 for the insurance ($7/day), and $10 for delivery/pickup - so $45 total - saving appx $30 over renting the same stroller from Kingdom Strollers. Even at 7 days, apple's cost would be $59.

We've used both rental companies, and both are great. We would use both of them again.
