~We seldom report of having eaten too little~ w/ PICS! ~ UPDATE: New Thread Started!

What I want to know is whether or not that giant Mickey rice krispie treat is for sale and just how much moolah it costs? :rotfl2:

Have a great trip!!! :goodvibes

Yes ma'am they are for sale for $50! Now if I were to get one I would be in hog heaven and would not share with ol' DH!

I could really go for some WPE right now...I love that quesadilla! Your pics make me feel so much better about going to Kona in Oct...DH loves it but it is just eh for me but the clincher was the Ohana dessert at Kona...OMG that is awesome, thanks so much for ordering that! How much was it if you dont mind me asking?

So glad you made it safe and sound and are having a blast in WDW...bet its super duper hot huh?

When you go to Cali Grill get 2 glasses of Conundrum so you can drink with me...even tho I am probably drinking Crystal Light ha ha

yipee, your are there! I am so hungry looking at your eviews, can't wait for chefs de france :cool1:

That is too too funny! I wonder if I we could buy that in October? Hmmmmm ...

You could get the Mickey for Jay and the Minnie for you and pig out, go into a sugar coma and wash it down with a nice cocktail! :rotfl2:

I'm thinking one would be enough ... but washing it down with the endless cocktail parade isn't a bad idea!! :lmao:

Hi Guys!

My pics took FOREVER to upload tonight! I might be a bit short on the info and big on the pics. I'll come fill in the blanks tomorrow :goodvibes

LIBERTY TREE TAVERN

We love having lunch here! And as we were waiting to be called to our table I met Deb Willis from Allearsnet :thumbsup2 That was very cool!

For appetizers we decided to split:

The Blue Crab and Spinach Dip with warmed flatbread
ry%3D400

This was SOOOOO good! Very creamy and flavourful.

and the Tavern Fried Cheese
ry%3D400

Wonderful as always!

DDad and I both had the Pilgrim's Feast
ry%3D400

which is easily my favorite MK lunch.

DMom had the Colony Salad and said it was very crisp and refreshing.

CHEFS DE FRANCE

One of our favorite dinner spots, this meal did not disappoint. It was our server, Jordon's, second night. He was very charming and attentive, albeit a bit nervous.

The rolls were PERFECT tonight! Crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside
ry%3D400

DDad and DMom split the Escargot to start
ry%3D400

I had the French Onion Soup...omg delicious :cloud9:
ry%3D400

For entrees, DMom had the Salmon with Ratatouille! She raved about this.
ry%3D400

DDad had the Duck two ways - Seared duck breast and duck leg confit. He said it was the best entree he has ever had at chefs.
ry%3D400

I had the Macaroni Gratin and it was lovely. Crispy on top and creamy underneath.
ry%3D400

We also shared Profiteroles but I forgot to grab a pic before we dug in :headache: They were wonderful!

After dinner we wandered World Showcase and grabbed these when we returned to France.

A Chocolate Crepe
ry%3D400

Grand Marnier Slush
ry%3D400

Pomegranate Kir and Champagne (in cute light up glasses!)

Well that's it for today! Tomorrow we are hitting Animal Kingdom, so I'll have lunch from Flame Tree BBQ. Dinner will be offsite at Romano's Macaroni Grill, but I'll still review with pics :thumbsup2

Your review of Liberty Tree Tavern convinced me that I need to make a lunch ADR there for my upcoming trip. The crap and spinach dip looks amazing.

Those champagne glasses look smaller than in years past. I know, I know ... it's always about the booze with me. :lmao: But they used to be really tall plastic flutes that filled up all the way through the stem of the "glass" so I didn't mind the prices as much.

Perhaps yours are in real glasses and I just can't tell?

Either way .... your dinner at Chefs looked tasty, especially the mac-n-cheese. :thumbsup2

Romano's Macaroni grill is very yummy I went to one a few weeks ago near San Francisco.. try their deep fried mozerella with pesto and marinara it is real yummy!

Hope your trip is going well

Chefs de France looks so yummy as always! Thanks for sharing your pics!

Oh, (I know this it OT but I have to find out) would you care to tell us about the crowds?

Your thread is really helping me make it through the last 2 weeks before we're there!

I LOVE live reviews. Thanks so much for doing this! Everything you've had looks delicious. I am drooling over my keyboard as I type!

Tavern fried cheese. :cloud9:

French onion soup. :cloud9::cloud9:

After dinner drinks from the champagne/slushie kiosk. :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

Too cool about meeting Deb Wills!

Brenda - eagle eye on the champagne glasses. You're right the "old" ones were full down through the stem. :thumbsup2 I hope it is just an optical illusion and it still holds the same amount of yumminess!

Thanks for your update. Chef de France is our favorite Epcot restaurant. Love your pictures. Keep them coming...

I had the pomegranate kir two nights in a row. The first night it was in the tall skinny flutes. The second it was in the shorter light up flute. I asked them and they said the pour is the same. I tested in my room. It is :thumbsup2

Hi Guys!

Quick update tonight.

We went to Animal Kingdom this morning and had lunch at Flame Tree BBQ

DDad and I had the St. Louis Ribs
ry%3D400

These were FANTASTIC! They fell off the bone, there was very little fat. They were the best that we have had in some time.

DMom had the BBQ Chicken Salad, always a favorite of hers
ry%3D400

For dinner tonight we went to Romano's Macaroni Grill, which is on the Apopka-Vineland Rd just a few mins from DTD.

Here is the inside of the restaurant
ry%3D400

We shared an order of Fried Mozzarella Cheese, which was amazing!
ry%3D400

We each had a caesar salad as well.
ry%3D400

DDad order a special, Lobster Spaghetti
ry%3D400

DMom had Parmesan Crusted Sole with Lemon Butter Caper Sauce and Whole Wheat Penne in Tomato Basil Sauce
ry%3D400

And I had Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken
ry%3D400

That's all for today.

Some updates:
- Yeti was in B mode, strobe lights going, though it looks like they have dropped the arm down to give more illusion of movement
- There was a baby giraffe about 1 foot from our safari vehicle!
- I got to go inside the CSR Club Level Lounge and I took pictures! :thumbsup2

Tomorrow: Chefs de France for lunch and California Grill for dinner :goodvibes
