We saw Shrek 2 tonight

Anything special at US for this movie? We will be there in about two and a half weeks.

It really was hillarious! When you enter Universal Studios they have Shrek's Head on top of the arch and his hands are on the sides.

I know we've got to see it again. DH asked me today what I thought of the Blazing Saddles reference and I said "what Blazing Saddles reference?" I bet there is a lot I missed the first time around.

Oh man, talk about a GREAT movie! I saw it a couple weeks ago with my parents, and then on Wednesday I saw it twice (yes - TWICE)...and saw it again last night...of course, Prince Charming looks like someone, so it made it even funnier (inside jokes, you could say...)

All I have to say is....one of my favorite characters is Kyle...and the bartender was FUNNY!

Yes, the soundtrack is good too. Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows is great, I love it for some reason... Also, Livin La Vida Loca by Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas lol

lol yeah! Their version of "Livin la Vida Loca" is great! I like "Accidentally in Love" as well...I often repeat Jennifer Saunder's version of "Holding out for a Hero" (inside joke) and Track #8 (forgot the title)

Saw the movie on Friday .... excellent! There were so many jokes and cultural references in there, OMG. Loved the Castle with the fireworks show too. Can't imagine what that's in reference to.

We got our tickets for advanced preview yesterday as in the UK its not out till July 2nd but they are showing screenings 26th & 27th June so then we can share your experiences too

After eating lunch at Motown, it was storming, so we ran over to catch Shrek 2! It was very good and my 2 boys really enjoyed it.

I loved the fairy godmother! How cute was she? And the father and mother! And Cinderella's gate to her castle with the shoe! LOL!

I will definitely have to see it again as they were firing off the jokes left and right.

My 7 year old thought Donkey's version of "Baby got back" was hilarious!!! His favorite part of the movie.

What was up with the gingerbread man and his gumdrop buttons?
