We saved over $250 using our Disney Dining Experience Card!!

Just returned from our trip sunday. I bought the DDE Card for $50 because i have an annual pass. I had used it the previous year as well and renewed it.

I just added up the receipts i have and it says we saved $291.46. If i take out the $50 price i paid for it, we saved $241.46. I know i am missing a couple of receipts, so that puts us over $250 in savings on our trip just in food.

There were 6 us in the party, 5 adults and 1 child. If you are not familiar with it, the DDE card gives you 20% meals at almost every place in WDW. Not every one, but almost. We used it at chef mickeys, 1900 park fare, sci fi, prime time cafe, trails end, whispering canyon, tony town square, cape may, etc.

Just thought i would share. If you are able to get one, by all means do so. Mine expires in aug, so i will renew it again in case they dont offer it again next year. I hope to return by next year so that way we can use it then.

Disneyfun1, that's great to hear. I just purchased an annual pass last night and will call to renew my DDE card today. By the way, my Missouri license is exactly like your's - WDW LVR complete with "Been There Done That Goin Back" license frame!!!

Great isn't it....and don't forget...FREE valet parking at all the hotels or free parking after 4 PM (I think it is 4PM) at any of the parks. We do ALWAYS tip the valets of course...All the best...Ted

I just renewed my DDE this past month and am waiting for the new card to arrive. I did not get my husband one as I thought it was silly to pay $25 for another card when we will be dining together... it saved us a lot last year on dining.

Our DDE card already paid for itself four or five times over when we had our family trip last January (Me, DW, DM, DD8, DD6, DS3). I think we cleared the price of the card with the first night's dinner at CM.

DW and I will be heading back for a parents-only trip in December for our anniversary. DM has volunteered to come watch the kids! We plan to use the card at every meal we can...
