We really liked The Wave

I ate at the Wave last Monday. It was a really good meal. The atmosphere was very calming, in the waiting area there were drink menus and a wait person taking drink and appetizer orders which I thought was nice.

I shared the filet with my DD who is 7 and it was perfectly cooked and really good. We also got the additional carrots which were ok.

It was the desserts which caught our attention and will make us go back. They have 9 choices and there is an option to pick 3 of them. What I really liked is the portion size it was myabe 4 small bites of each selection so we got to try 3 different desserts and got a nice taste without them being overwhelming.

This is a restaurant we will be visiting next trip for sure!

I am happy to hear this! DS and I are trying it in August and some reviews have been 'iffy' to say the least. We cancelled our much loved Liberty Tree Tavern dinner to fit this in. We have gone to LTT each of our last 5 trips and wanted to try something new.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It seems the sides are where the most improvement is needed. In most of the reviews I've read, the reviewer wasn't thrilled with those. I too plan to wait for more reviews, before we go for a meal, but I'm very tempted to go for desserts late one evening. I think I'll try to work that in.

Do you recall how long you were in the restaurant for your meal? We will be eating at The Wave on Halloween, our MNSSHP night. We have the first dining slot at 5:30. I would like to be finished by 6:30 to give us time to get back to MK by 7:00. From your experience, will that work?

Does anyone know yet if the Wave is accepted on the DDP? I know the Concourse Steakhouse was but haven't seen the Wave mentioned.

Yes, The Wave is accepted on the DDP. I checked that before making our ADR.
