We ordered from Photopass but now after it expired Mother in law wants more??

This was not started as a debate about copyright laws.

The poster was looking for a way to retrieve copies of her photos.

Please keep the discussion on track, or this thread will be locked.

I am a sneaky little thing - I really didn't want to buy any of the PhotoPass photos, but we took a lot, and most were really cute. I tried saving them on my computer, but the website disables right clicking, saving, copying, etc. So I took a screen capture of each page, pasted it into MS Paint, and cropped the page so it was only our photo. Then I saved them. Now I have all of my pictures to look at on my computer. ;) I couldn't deal with those pictures being gone. :wizard:

Wow, I'm surprised someone would actually admit to doing this but since you did I will too. I did this because I wanted the pictures to store on my computer but I wasnt about to purchase the pictures when the castle wasnt even centered in the background or the photo was really dark or my wifes eyes were closed in every one (I know that one isnt their fault). The quality of photos that they offer just doesnt suit the price they are charging. :rolleyes1

To the OP: I am not sure if this will help, but I just PM'd you with a supervisor's telephone number. Let me know if this helps! :flower:

I did the same thing! But I went a step further and saved the files as jpegs then used our photo printer and printed them out! Worked like a charm.

How was the resolution? Were they like regular prints?

For the heck of it, do you still have your photopass card? If so would it work if you re-entered it into the photopass website?

4 X 6's looked good, anything larger and it would have been very pixelated.
