I love the BWI and no clown could keep me away. OP, I'm not sure if this was in jest or not, so the only appropriate response I could think of is in Haiku form:
A scary clown slide
Now face your fears like a man
Slide out of his mouth

In my best Seinfeld voice - "But I don't WANNA be a man!!!"
The original post was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. The clown wasn't the only factor (we wanted to be close to MK), but I'll admit that it was A factor.
It does look like the clown from "IT," with a little of the clown from "Poltergeist" thrown in. And whoever said the stars in his eyes look a little like x's and that means death is onto something. I don't like clowns in general, but I usually don't have the intense aversion to them that I had the first time I saw this one. And I think the eyes may very well be the reason.

It's pure unadulterated evil is what it is. I can't imagine seeing one of my children slide out of that wacko's mouth!![]()

I JUST took a sip of diet coke when I read this and almost spit it all over my computer. That is SOOOO hilarious!! I won't stay there either because of that freaky clown. It reminds me of those Chucky movies ....
One thing I hate more than heights, CLOWNS. (no offense to anyone out there that's a clown). I'm sure Boardwalk is lovely, but it's going to be lovely without me !
Or S/D. Honestly, I've never stayed at BW and don't think I'd like staying there and not because of the clown. It's a great place to visit, which many people do. I prefer a more quiet place and BW isn't that, especially if your room faces the boardwalk. The garden suites look nice, just wish they were elsewhere.

I suppose it is a love it or hate it thing. Just my opinion.
