I've really enjoyed "The Expanse" novels and show but I can't imagine anyone here would enjoy something like it.
I think we need something like "Mass Effect" on Netflix or Disney Plus and marketed heavily at the Disney park loving and NFL loving suburbs. Perhaps it could be inspired or even be set in the Horizons universe.
Would aliens and far future sci fi concepts that are not "Star Wars" turn off the mainstream? Would it have to be a astronaut soap opera?
I think we need an optimistic fun yet intelligent space adventure that is not cheap and tacky looking like "The Orville". Something that gets people interested and even excited for space travel and science. It is heartbreaking to see what is happening in other countries right now. In "Mass Effect" India has modernized and is part of an "Human Alliance" pushing humanity forward in space. We need something to remind us of what we could achieve.

Preferably it would look as good as this. Really excited for this as well as "Dune" even though it is not "optimistic".
And maybe music would be included.
