We might be going in 2012!

I have been very quiet on the boards since returning from WDW last December, mainly because it's so depressing not having another trip to look forward to!

However DD (wishspirit) and I have been plotting tonight!! She starts her teacher training in September so can't go till the middle of next year when she finishes. We think the summer will be too hot for some of our party so have tentatively suggested going back to our beloved WDW in October next year.

I know it's 18 months away but at least we now have a date in mind . . . . LET THE PLANNING BEGIN!!!!

once the idea is in your head the fun starts. We're already starting to look at October 2013 even though we're going in August this year.

woo hoo!!!!! planning is soooooooo much fun!!!

i'm still trying to work out a trip for all of us this year...

the biggest issue is coordinating schedules..

DS has university exams through the end of july, then gets august and september off...
but his wife is a teacher and only gets july/august off..

so that leaves august...
BUT...DD is a singer and august is a very important performing time for her band (lots of big summer night concerts in august)..
so her best time to go is in september/october...

so basically, no time is good for everyone...
but maybe we can somehow squeeze in a trip in august...
but i still don't know anyone's final schedule...
so i can't book yet..

i'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be some last minute bargains out there...

yay for your trip and planning! I know how you feel about teacher training, my BF is a college lecturer (nearly finished his first year in his job) so we now have to take our holidays during school holidays - we're doing the same as you by going October half term as it's not as hot or expensive during summer holidays (plus we're mega halloween fans!!). Have fun planning!
