We managed to pay $2k in a month!

DBF and I have been talking about going to WDW again for about a year now but are bad at saving money for vacation.

Last month when FD came out, we booked totally on a whim for a whole week at POFQ. We only had a month to pay it off, so we weren't sure if we would actually be able to go since it was around $2,000....

Well, the last payment is due on Sunday and I am giving it to Disney TODAY!

I wasn't sure if we would basically be able to find $2,000 extra cash but I am amazed at what we could do when we put our minds to it! And all the money I make this weekend at work is for the plane tickets! For the last month we basically stayed in the house and only went out with friends once, but it will be totally worth it when we are looking at the castle!

wow, that is great! It's so nice knowing you have everything paid off well before the trip. I actually lik ethe 45 day rules so that I'm not stressing trying to scrape together money in the last few days before we leave.
