We loved QSDP!

Can anyone tell me what you get for a qs meal at Main St Bakery in MK? Thanks!;)

Are BOTH WGPs on the Quick Service DDP ?? I have never done any DDP before so this is a first for us. We were planning on going to WGP (same thing as WPE?) when we do DisneyQuest. Is it far from there?

Disneyquest has some really good cs food. It was the best CS meal we had on our last trip. They had baked ziti, panini sandwiches and the pizzas made when you ordered them.

We did not go to WGPs. I am planning on going there on our next trip though.

Thanks for the suggestion:thumbsup2. We have eaten a number of times at DisneyQuest and Cheessecake Factory. Was thinking of trying someplace new but I am not even sure where it is. Guess I shall look over the DTD maps.

Cheesecake Factory no longer runs Foodquest inside DisneyQuest. Now it's run by Disney. That's not a good thing, the Cheesecake Factory food was excellent.

We are considering the QSDP for our Dec. trip. We will only have 3 nights/4 days, so don't want to do more than one table service in order to maximise our park time. We will do 1 character meal oop, cause it's just not Disney without one! We are still so on the fence though..DS will be 9, and 4 chicken nuggets just don't cut it anymore. I also am just not sure, as CS kisd meal choices seem to be getting more and more limited. I remember in 2007 we were at Backlot Wxpress (I think) and DD wanted a Hot dog, but it was only on the adult menu...I wound up having to get her the adult hot dog meal, and I got stuck eating a chicken nugget kids meal instead of one of the yummy looking sandwiches that we had gone there for. The main point of doing any type of dining plan for us is convenience, and things like that make it less convenient.

However, it is paid for in advance, and we get more snacks than we would probably normally buy, which is good. I'm still not sure which way to go...

I've done some research and decided to get this plan for myself in June. In my research, I discovered that if you have a family and can mix and match and share, it might be even more worthwhile for you. What I would suggest is taking a day or even the whole trip and looking at menus (click dining on the top of this page) and figuring out what you would order. Then, do the math, including the 6.5% tax you would pay OOP. That's really the only way to know if it's a good deal for your family or not. Obviously, if you end up having to buy lots of food OOP or eat children's meals, I would think it wouldn't be worth it! However, there are lots of places where two adults can share one meal. Then, your older children could also share the other adult meal. You'd have children's meals left over to spend on breakfast or small meals. It might work out. Give it a try! :surfweb:

We added the Quick Service Dining Plan for our trip next Saturday. This is the first time dh and I have ever had any dining plan. I think it will work out for us because:

We don't like being tied down to ressies. We usually get 2 counter meals each per day (approx $10.00 each) but we don't get dessert and we get water with our meal so having a drink and dessert will be extras for us. We usually get 1 snack per day each and maybe popcorn or something to share - now we'll get 2 snacks each. And we usually don't get the mugs so that is a bonus, too. Plus with the dining plan/package it has listed a $15.00 meal voucher at Planet Hollywood. This is extra, too, as we usually book a room only.

(For our normal breakfast at WDW we usually get a pastry and we will still be paying OOP for this.)

Are you THE Piglet's Mommy? I have chatted with her here and there and even PM;d and have the utmost respect and liking for that young lady.

The idea of her not getting her heart's desire disturbs me. :goodvibes

Please tell her hello from me?

Slightly Goofy/who is a fan of the QS plan also

at main st bakery for breakfast you can get a sandwich, with a pastry, and a drink for a counter service.
