Dinner at Narcoosee's last night. We did like this. I had a horrible headache when we went to dinner, but I still enjoyed it.

Pics of our club level room at the Poly, and pics from the balcony. Well, 2nd floor rooms don't have a balcony. But we have a sliding door thing that opens. I just watched the water pageant but it was too dark to get good pics. DH is still at MK with DS and he took the good camera with him. (Not that I would attempt to use the good camera anyway.) I'll post his pics soon.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. We just arrived here on Saturday and Sunday was good crowd wise for us but today at EPCOT was insane! WE got three rides in that's it and we left. I hate standing around in lines. I know that sounds funny when you're here. But when you plan hard to try and avoid lines. Anyway we're in Disney so it can't be all that bad Congrats on the room, may it will make you feel better

I'm so sorry you're sick! Sick on vacation... there oughta be a law! Here's some pixie dust for a speedy recovery. Feel better soon!!

Elizabeth - I am so sorry that you were not feeling well today! But your upgrade does make it nice to lay around and look out the balcony doors.

Thank you for all of the well wishes! I do feel better than I did, but posting all the food pics made me sort of queasy so I am not 100% yet! I did go down to Captain Cook's and get a burger and fries. Maybe I'll pop over to the concierge lounge for dessert later. I HAD dessert that came with my CS burger, but it slid off the tray when I was walking back to the room so it went straight to the trash. Not to worry - I still have 5 snack credits and 4 complete meals to use before midnight.

Thanks! I do hope DS and DH don't get sick. DH kept telling me he thought it was from something I ate, but the fever makes me thnk it was viral.
There isn't really anything "breakfasty" offered this late at night. We have that fishing excursion in the morning, so we probably won't eat much anyway. I can honestly say we learned our lesson about Dining Plan. We wasted hundreds of dollars over the past 7 days.

DS and DH came back from MK at 11 PM. DH used the rest of the snack credits on bottled water. Then he went to the CS place and tried to use the last few meal credits and the girl told him there weren't any credits left! Excuse me? There were FOUR meal credits, valid for CS or TS! So we went back down to Captain Cook's to see what the deal was. They had all of the registers shut down and the system was offline so we couldn't check. DH bought 2 sandwiches, 2 krispy treats, and 2 drinks so they better not show up as room charges. I am hoping the register the girl checked the credits with had already been rolled to today's date and that's why it showed zero credits.

I don't eat calamari! It's DS's thing.

He says Yachtsman has the best. DH said the one at Puck's has some odd seasoning (like Lawry's) on it. It wasn't bad, just different. The one at Tutto was just so-so. They said Narcoosee's was good, too.

Pics from yesterday's fishing excursion! Our guide was Carrie. She was terrific! DS caught about 12 fish in the 2 hours we were on the boat. DH caught about 6, I caught about 3. A successful outing, I think! The bird comes to hang out on some of the excursion boats. He sat and watched us for awhile, but then he went off to do other bird things.

After fishing we went back to the room and showered, so we didn't make it out to a park until about 11 AM. We were going to go to MGM, but then we got on the monorail without thinking so we went to MK instead!

The crowds are starting to thin out just a bit. Not a BIG difference, but a bit better. We did stuff around Mk until about 5 PM, then we headed back to the Poly. We missed dinner at Spoodles - we ended up eating CS at the hotel. We watched the water pageant from the beach, then we went back to the room to wait for Wishes. DS fell asleep before it started and that was the end of that!

This morning we packed up our odds & ends and headed back to MK for a few hours before we switched resorts for the last time. We REALLY liked the Poly! Hopefully we'll stay there again sometime. MK wasn't too bad. We saw Tammi and Debbie at rope drop, and we're all having dinner together tomorrow.

Now we are all settled in our standard studio villa at AKL. We like it better than SSR. Maybe because the pull-out sofa was actually made up properly with a mattress pad, sheets, and everything. And the villa was ready when we got here about 1:15, so no waiting around without a room! I took pics and will post them later.

We're off to Mara now, then back to MK!
