We Love Libery Tree Tavern

We went to LTT for dinner on our last trip two years ago and with the exception of my DH, none of us really liked it (although I know a lot of people love it!!). We went back for lunch this time (8 days ago) because I knew the menu was different and I had read lots of great things. I was glad we decided to go, because it was one of the best meals of the trip. My husband raved about his crab cakes and the rest of us loved the fried cheese. The pot roast was both delicious and huge and the desserts were amazing.

The characters were out in full force and visited our table lots of times.

See, that was not our experience at all. We saw each character once and Chip was at our table for a total of 60 seconds. I had to actually call out loudly as he walked away to ask him for a pic.

Quite honestly, I wonder if the characters were staying away from our side of the restaurant bec there was a family group from he!! on our side with 8 kids under the age of 5 who were literally shrieking for 45 minutes, throwing food, and running around completely unchecked.

My husband and I are trying it out for lunch on our May trip here in a couple of weeks. I haven't been able to get that pound cake out of my mind since I saw it sometime last year on the food porn thread.

We ate there last Sept. and loved it for dinner. I was surprised, as I usually prefer to eat different foods not just turkey, etc. I was pleasantly surprised. We booked it again this Sept. for dinner. I will have to try it for lunch when the kids get older.
