Hi - I don't really see much about this so I wanted to share. We love to have dinner at the POFQ food court. For dinner, they offer really yummy dinner meals such as ribs and chicken with mashed potatoes and great pot roast, plus some other dinner options. They offer these options in the evening. Prices are reasonable and its not usually too crowded, especially if we go early. Another plus is that they accept TIW at POFQ food court because there is no table service restaurant (same for pop century). I guess on the DDP, the ribs and chicken combo dinner would be a good use of a CS, with ice-cream for desert.

A nice evening is to have dinner in the food court on the early side and then take the river cruise to down town disney, or if you don't feel like taking the cruise, still walk down to the path by the river and you can see the horses and carriages and boats go by.

Thought I'd share this relatively inexpensive enjoyable dinner option. Give it a try.

We stayed at POFQ for the first time last October. We liked the food court too. For breakfast I would walk over and get the beneits. I can get them in our home city, but the ones at POFQ were a little different and very tasty. My only complaint is that the coffee is horrible and tastes like instant.

I liked eating dinner there, too. I love eating there, and then walking past the pool out to the river and wandering around. Very relaxing, very pretty.

I've seen people complain about the food courts, but I've liked both the Pepper Market at CSR and the food court at POFQ.

This is good to know. We will be there Aug 6-13 and plan on using 1 or 2 of our CS meals at the food court at POFQ. Thanks!

there a couple of years ago and had one dinner at the food court. We'll probably have a couple again this year. It's convenient because, as the OP wrote, it's not crowded. It worked perfectly when we got back to the room a little later than normal for the afternoon break. We grabbed a quick dinner when we were still fresh and ready to go when we hit the park.

My wife and I split the chicken and rib combo last time. I'll have to try the pot roast and a poster a couple of months ago wrote highly of the taco salad.

thanks for the review.......we are going to be there in three weeks......so nice to know that we can get a decent dinner if the kids are tired and want to stay at the hotel....

Thanks so much! We will be going next month and that sounds like a really nice meal.:)

The dinners there are suprisingly good I agree! If you eat early it is wonderful but as it gets later it seems to get more crowded there and near park closing times it gets really really crowded.

my mom and i ate dinner here 2 times a few weeks ago. between us we had chicken quesadillas, the chicken taco salad and the chicken ceasar salad. we really enjoyed everything. we also ate in the riverside food court one night and both had the roasted turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, baby carrots, and cornbread. we loved it! we find that eating dinner in the hotel food courts is MUCH less hectic and more enjoyable than eating at a counter service in a park. french quarter and riverside have great dinner options.
