We lost our dog

Last night (jul 2) while we were out grocery shoppin, our dog got loose from the backyard. He's been out there many times and never tried to escape. We believe the kids next door poppin firecrackers scared him. He broke through our 8' wooden privacy fence. We've went to animal shelters, posted flyers, drove all overand had no luck. Life is just not the same right now

one time that happen to me, and after about 4 days I posted lost and found in the paper, as soon as the paper come out, I had a call from the person who found her.

Another suggestion, put calls in to your local Vets too or, better still, make up a flyer with a photo and see if they'll let you post it.

I'm so sorry. I hope he comes home soon. I agree with all the previous suggestions. Try not to lose hope. My SIL in your area lost her dog one day. He ran away and was missing for 9 days. He came home mangy, but appeared to be fed. I hope you find your doggie too

I just want to wish you luck and know that I know exactly how you feel. It is hard to believe the sadness and emptiness when this happens.

When our dog ran off during a thunderstorm last year we were all in tears for days. But I can tell you, after five days when we were becoming convinced he was not coming back, someone found him. So don't give up.

I found a dog yesterday with tags. To make a very long story short, the tags were from the previous owner who was on vacation and whohad moved from the address on the tag. This is where it gets long, after many calls we found the original owner who sent her cousin over to get the dog . She said she was not returning it to the new owner. The dog had walked over 5 miles to try to get to the original owners old house. He was very close when we found him.

There are some online sites where you can post info on missing pets. Do a Goggle search for them in your area. You can list by state and town for free.
