My beloved Grandma who just celebrated her 90th birthday 2 weeks ago, left us yesterday. She had a sudden heart attack, and couldn't recover. This is my 3rd loved one that I have buried inside of 6 months - grandfather, aunt and now grandma.
This comes at an especially difficult time for my family as we just buried my beloved aunt 6 weeks ago - she succumbed to cancer at age 48 (much too young) after a courageous fight. We were actually at a memorial mass for my aunt, when my grandmother was rushed from nursing home to hospital. We were able to say goodbye and be with her at her moment of passing into heaven. She was surely welcomed into heaven by my grandpa (he's been gone for 21 years) and of course, my aunt (her daughter-in-law).
If anyone can spare a few prayers for my family, we would appreciate it. Although we are happy my grandma had an amazing life and lived to 90, we are still very sad from my aunt's funeral only 6 weeks ago. It was a huge funeral, and now, here we go again...Too much, too soon...
May all of you who also lost loved ones yesterday, Valentine's Day, carry with you special memories and happy times.
Thanks, Tiger
