We leave tomorrow - so excited!

Our trip is almost here! We are leaving tomorrow afternoon as soon as my son gets out of school at 2:00 p.m. We fly into LGB and should be at HoJo's by 7:30 p.m., and hopefully in the park by 8:00 p.m. The park closes at 10:00 p.m. tomorow, so we only get 2 hours in the parks tomorrow night, but who cares! I'm very excited to stay at HoJo's too...finally going to see what all the fuss is about.

The forecast doesn't look great, but hey I'm from Washington and I know how to maneuver in the rain.

Plus, Christmas lights are gorgeous when the ground is wet! LOL.

I know I'm rambling, but I'm so excited to see how beautiful the parks look at Christmas. I know it will totally put me in the "Spirit".

Bring some warm clothes; even though I live here too, I'm always colder than I expect in the evenings, and like having the option of putting on warmer clothes (even if they spend most of the day in a locker).

I am looking at the weather and everyday it changes. Looks like the highs during the day could be cool (in the low 60's) to pretty warm - 75 degrees. Which coming from Seattle will feel warm. I am making sure we all pack sweatshirts, rain gear, shorts and well, pretty much a little bit of everything! Sounds kind of like spring in Seattle!

Oh the anticipation is so much fun! Hmm...how many more hours??

Have a great time, im so jealous! Take lots of pics! We're from southern oregon but my husband is trucking thru there and he says the weather is wayyyy better there right now, even if its raining because its not the cold rain that were used to! so enjoy!

We are leaving tomorrow too!!! So excited probably won't be able to sleep much tonight just like the father and son proclaim in the disney commericial LOL - this will be our first time at DL during Xmas so looking forward to seeing all the decorations etc.

Another soggy Washingtonian signing in and leaving in exactly six days! I hope this next week just flies by and then time stops while we are in the parks!

I hope all of you going this week have a magical trip! We went this time last year but for some reason there is even more magic in the air this year! (we just got back yesterday) The decorations are just amazing and there were more characters out and about than ever!

Have a wonderful time! We would traditionally be going this weekend as well, but decided to wait and go a little later this year and be there through Christmas Day. While I am a little jealous of all of you that are leaving tomorrow, it's just as well that we planned a later trip this year, as DS is sick. Conveniently he has a doctor's appt for tomorrow afternoon that was supposed to be for shots and a check up, but instead I have a feeling we will be leaving with a prescription and another appointment for a few weeks from now to catch up on those immunizations.

So, wish us luck and tell Mickey we'll be there soon!
