We leave tomorrow - need quick answer HELP!

We leave tomorrow. Our flight is on Jetblue. Jetblue allows 1 checked bag per person free of charge. I just printed our boarding passes and I thought everything was good to go but on the boarding pass it says in order to check the bag you need a valid photo ID.

There are 4 adults and 2 kids in our group. How do we check the luggage for the kids if we don't have photo ID's for them? I'm concerned about the luggage for the 13 year old.

Will showing his birth certificate be enough? His mother will be with him.

I agree check with jetblue but I have never had to show id for my kids

We always fly jetblue .we have never been asked for ID for our kids the only thing they have done is ask each child what their name is when going through security. For checking the bags you just need the adults Ids and the boarding passes for them and the kids just the boarding passes

IDs will be required only for passengers 18 and older. Don't take your birth certificates unless you have some other need for them.

Don't worry about it. We fly JB all the time. Check/carry bags all the time and never have been asked for ID for the kids. Ever.

From what I've read, passengers under 18 don't need ID.
