We leave today!!

Plane leaves at 5P, so why am I awake at 4A and reading disboards?! Months of planning are over, and we have a magical week ahead!!

I hope you have such a great time at WDW. How long are you going for and what restort are you staying at? We leave April, 9th for our 5th family vacation at CSR. I can't wait!!!!

We are staying at the Pop until Friday, 2/20. I've heard CSR is really nice. This is only "our" second visit, though I was there a couple of times back in the 70s. We are planning two days in Epcot, two days in AK, and one day in MK. MGM/HS just was OK for us last time, so we are skipping it this time. By the way, I am an RN, also.

Haha! I'm asking myself the same thing - I'm sitting in a corner in my dark hotel room on the Dis Boards while DH sleeps - but how can he sleep, our plane leaves for FL in SEVEN HOURS!! We're staying at POP, too! Have a wonderful vacation!

The RN part is a little off. At the present I am an EMT for a childrens hospital here in Delaware. I am in the 3rd year of my "2" year nursing degree. I start my clincals in August and hope to be an LPN by this time next year and an RN within 18 months. I just figured it was easier to get my signame early rather than try and change it late.

RN, your EMT experience will be helpful in clinicals. It took me 6 years to complete the BSN program, so keep at it!
Kate, we just made camping reservations for Camden Hills SP and Bar Harbor KOA for early September. We've never been to Maine, but are looking forward to it. Maybe we will see you at the Pop.

Bar Harbor is one of the most beautiful spots in the world (and I'm lucky enough to teach high school there!). MAKE SURE you go for lemonade and popovers on the lawn at Jordan Pond house in the afternoon. (Jordan Pond House is in Acadia National Park - ask anyone and they'll tell you how to get there!) The view is spectacular and they bring popover after popover with their homemade jam until you just about bust! Kids can play on the lawn (and pets are happy there, too!) Feel free to PM me if you want any tips/must dos!

We leave tomorrow, too! Yippee CBR bound in 31 hours and counting.
I also am lucky enough to teach high school in a great summer spot. When you ahve the summer off, it's pretty awesome to live by the beach! Isn't it cool the things you find you have in common with each other?
